Lately, in our school garden, the parsley has been really enjoying the wet and cool conditions we have had. The children who have been working in the garden then get to chop some parsley off the plant and take it down to the canteen where they help Mrs Forrest make up the garlic bread orders for our school. It is a lot of fun watching our garden grow, then completing the cycle by using the produce to make some food. The extra cool part is that the children get to cook up some garlic bread then bring it back to class to eat in the afternoon. Thank you to the children who spend a great deal of their free time tending to the gardens around the school Keep up the fantastic work! Also, thank you to Mrs Forrest for the support you provide to Room 18.
