ROOM 18 AWARD WINNERS

Wow, what an amazing effort by the children of Room 18. There is a lot of reading happening in our class which is so fantastic to see. Most students have set a new goal to achieve either their Red or Bronze Certificate next. Our class has read the most amount of words (3,917,700) and we have the greatest pass rate of 87% We hope this trend continues and it would be wonderful to see all children achieving their very best. Go for gold, everyone!

It was also wonderful to see Room 18 achieve the 'Tidy Bags Award.' This ties in well with our value of 'Respect' for the term. Well done!

Congratulations to our Merit Award recipients. Your hard work and kindness is appreciated. Keep up the excellent effort. 

We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe school holiday. Have an enjoyable break and we are looking forward to seeing everyone on their return to school in Term 2. 
Don't forget to read and do as many Literacy Pro Library Books as you can. We will be announcing a 'Champion Holiday Reader' when we return to school. Term 2's Motivational Work is already up and ready, so if you want to get a head start, then go for it. One last thing, NAPLAN is early on in Term 2 so if you are a little bit bored in the break, have a think about your goals and try to work towards them.
