MASSED CHOIR

First off, our extraordinary choir went onto a bus to get to the Perth Concert Hall, after this the choir had to wait outside with all the other school choirs until we all went in. Once we were inside we all assembled to our spots on the stage and rehearsed some of our wonderful songs. At 7:30 pm we went backstage into a long and narrow room upstairs and got into rows and got assigned what we were going to do, then gave out little squares of coloured cloth for our song, “Sea of Flags.” Once ready, we returned to the stage to sing our eleven spectacular songs which were: Advance Australia Fair, Jungle Rhythm, Sea of Flags, Message of Hope, You Me and the Wide Open Sky, Disney Show Stoppers and many more. Most notably my favourite song was “Caught in the Crowd” because of its catchy beat and rhythm. Furthermore, we had two guest choirs come in to sing to the audience whilst we had short breaks between the songs. After our performance we were lead back to the room upstairs and collected by our parent(s).

It was a truly amazing experience for me and the choir. I can't wait for next year’s marvellous mass choir festival in 2019.
